Fans praise Mark Noble for ‘pocketing’ Paul Pogba during outstanding performance against Manchester United
Mark Noble was named ‘Man of the Match’ as West Ham beat Manchester United 3-1 at the London Stadium.
The aging midfielder, now 31, had come in for much criticism in the early weeks of the new season as the Hammers lost their first four matches in the league.
However, they have now turned things around with four impressive results and Noble has been a key part of the transformation.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side won 3-1 at Everton, drew 0-0 with Chelsea, beat Macclesfield 8-0 and then conquered United.
On Saturday, Noble put his opposition midfielders, including Paul Pogba, to shame – a fact that was picked up on by fans on social media.
You can read a round-up of the best reaction below.
Mark Noble literally obliterated Pogba. Pogba got what he wanted and was let to play an attacking role behind the strikers and still got pocketed by a Mark Noble
Inconsistent.
